With the rise of full internal cable routing becoming the current standard in the cycling industry, there's a growing need for solutions that can adapt to partially internally routed frames. 

Currently,there are two primary types of integrated cable routing designs:

Standard 28.6mm Steerer Tube with Large Headset
Featuring a 28.6mm steerer tube with a large headset. Better compatibility with various components but looks bulky, especially on metal frames.

28.6mm D-Shaped Steerer Tube with Small Headset
A 28.6mm D-shaped steerer tube with a small headset provides a more aesthetically pleasing appearance on a slim design metal frame. However, conventional 28.6mm D-shaped steerer tubes tend to sacrifice stiffness and rigidity.

The FK-01 fork addresses these concerns by increasing the steerer tube diameter to 31.8mm and  D-shaped design con bind together. Through the use of carbon fiber one-piece molding technology and reinforcement design, it achieves increased strength and rigidity without adding extra carbon layers to the steerer tube, thus reducing weight and maintaining the desired strength.

With the thicker steerer tube, some models can use a standard, non-offset top cap when paired with a small-sized headset and our dedicated lightweight compression plug, allowing your bike for a more aesthetically pleasing build.
