Continuing the R-series shape on the top
The R200 continues the ergonomic design of the R series road handlebars, providing nice support for the palm, and reducing the likelihood of hand numbness during long rides.
A whole new drop curve
Not like the other R series handlebars, the R200 has a new drop design with only a 100mm drop, allowing the rider to adopt a more relaxed position rather than an aggressive low tuck on the drop.
Considering a better angle when using the braking lever while hands on the drops,the R200's drop forward sweep is restrained for better control.
The width of the drop is 40mm wider compared to the top, allowing the rider to use the drops more easily and enhance handling.
Expanding possibilities

Providing more options for the riding needs.
For all-terrain usage,the R200 expands the central clamping area to 100mm,allowing riders to install additional accessories like time trial bar.

The R200 handlebar impact test strength is 70 joules,adheing to Shimano's latest gravel impact test standards,which are higher srandards than regular road handlebar,to make sure it's safe to ride on any unpaved surfaces.
