Tube deformation testing

Taking a seatpost 250mm length out of frame to rails
Pressing a 75kgs on the point at 60mm off the center of seatpost clamp by machine;
The testing is designed to simulate seat tube deformation in real riding conditions.
 

The testing results show that the offset design do affect.
A bigger offset design offers a better comfort of seatpost
In most daily riding conditions, the actual tube deformation is less than the testing datas.
 

How to get a suitable length:
Reducing the thickness of saddle and length of seat tube, you will get a suitable length choice. The min/max insert length is 80/200mm.
